SINGAPORE – March 2017 – Mr. Alex Lau, Chief Executive Officer of Anacle Systems received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Minister for Communications and Information, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim at the SCS 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner and IT Leader Awards 2017. The Gala Dinner, hailed as one of the largest IT events of the year, was held at Resort World Sentosa and saw the gathering of over 1,200 industry leaders, government officials, business leaders and IT professionals.

Now in its 21st year, the IT Leader Awards was launched by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) to recognize and honour the trailblazers and key contributors of the IT industry. The Awards include Entrepreneur of the Year, IT Leader of the Year, Hall of Fame, Professional of the Year and IT Youth of the Year. Every year, the judging panel, comprising distinguished figures from the academia, business, and public sectors, evaluates and decides on the award recipients based on a comprehensive set of judging criteria beyond financial performance and achievement.
