SINGAPORE – November 2021 – Anacle Systems Limited (“Anacle”) has been selected by Hong Kong’s Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD), HKSAR Government to implement a Digitised Asset Management System.
The Digitised Asset Management System provided for the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) is a collaboration between Anacle Systems and partner in Hong Kong, ClusterTech Limited.
“The future of cities will be automated and require low-maintenance. By connecting intelligent assets across buildings and facilities, it enables more informed decision making, effectively addressing the city’s critical challenges,” said Alex Lau, CEO of Anacle Systems Limited.
The deployment of the Digitised Asset Management System will put in place Anacle’s anchoring technologies which include Augmented Reality and 3D Digital Twin and the Simplicity® Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution. By creating a digital replica of the buildings and facilities, asset managers will be able to better visualise the properties over real spaces and at the same time, look at real-time data without being physically present at the location.
Implementing across 400 buildings, venues and facilities, the Digitised Asset Management System will be equipped with the Machine Learning capability. There are various lifespans for assets and equipment and maintenance is critical in order to function properly, over a longer period of time. With the Machine Learning capability, the Digitised Asset Management System will be able to help predict possible failures and estimate the remaining life expectancy of the assets. With the data generated, predictive maintenance can be performed, greatly reducing the potential equipment failures.
